Timothy Jon Fort, the son of Donald Earl and Ella Mae (Simpson) Conrad, was born December 13, 1959, in Council Bluffs, IA.  He died unexpectedly, February 19, 2020, at his home in Oakland, IA, at the age of 60 years, 2 months, and 6 days.

Timothy graduated from Nishna Valley Community School in 1979.  He worked for many years at Skelgas in Emerson.  Most recently, he had worked at Bunge in Council Bluffs.  He lived most of his life in Emerson. He enjoyed trapping and fishing.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Jane Jones; his grandparents; and his aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Uren and husband Jonathan of Shelby, IA, and Sara Fort of Silver City, IA; his grandchildren: Hailey, Zaiden, Zoey, and Tyler; his sister Gloria Vanderpool of Oakland, IA; and his brothers Michael Fort of Red Oak, IA, and Terry Conrad of Oakland, IA.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be no services at this time.
