THOMAS MICHAEL LOVELL

Thomas Michael Lovell, age 48, of Colorado died Saturday October 13, 2012 in Greeley, Colorado, after a sudden illness. He is the son of Mike and Susan Lovell of Griswold.

He was born in Atlantic, IA December 11th, 1963. He graduated from Griswold in 1982 and also from Iowa Western Community College. He was married to Jena Hanson April 4, 1991 in California. They then moved to Denver to begin their life together. Tom then started his own successful Custom home building business. He was very active in the Cherry Hills Christian Church in Denver with his family. He loved to play guitar and teach his children to play as well. He has three wonderful children, Trey 19, Tanner 17, and Tori 15, all from Atlantic, IA.

He was presently working in Sterling, CO before his sudden death.

He is survived by Jena Lovell of Atlantic; his children: Trey, Tanner, and Victoria of Atlantic; Parents Mike and Susan Lovell of Griswold; Sister Gina Lantry and Wyatt 16 and Paige 14 of Omaha; Brother Rob Lovell of Ft. Myers, FL; Aunts and Uncles, Robert James, Terry and Gayla James all of CA; and cousins, Kristi and Martin James, Kevin and Rebecca James, of CA, Craig and Amy Both, Deb and Mark Kennedy, Kim and Jon Morrison, Mark and Jodi Lovell. He is also survived by many more nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Gail and Grace Lovell of Griswold and Dr. Ernest and Dagny James of Atlantic; Aunts and Uncles, Max and Delores Lovell, Marilyn and Darrell Both, and Marvin Lovell.

A memorial service for Thomas will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Griswold United Methodist Church in Griswold. Interment will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral Home. Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is in charge of arrangements.
