Theresa Kay Jackson, the daughter of Morris and Flora (Gardner) Steffen, was born October 16, 1957, in Des Moines, IA.  She died September 7, 2019, at the Griswold Care Center in Griswold, IA, at the age of 61 years, 10 months, and 22 days.

Theresa attended school at Griswold.  On January 28, 1977, she was united in marriage to Rick Jackson.  Theresa became a Certified Nursing Assistant and spent most of her life as a healthcare provider.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a people person who like being around people.  Theresa enjoyed riding motorcycles.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter Gracie: and her brothers, Ricky Cronk and Craig Steffen.

Theresa is survived by her husband Rick of Griswold; her children:  Kerri Hayes and husband Brian of Omaha, NE, Titus Jackson and wife Jessica of Griswold, IA, Travis Jackson and wife Krista of Paw Paw, MI, Tyler Jackson and wife Vanessa of Corning, IA; 12 grandchildren;  her brother Ken Steffen of Florida; and sister-in-law Cindy Steffen of Spring Valley, OH.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, September 13, 2019, from 5:30 until 7:30 PM at the Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold.  A celebration of life will be held at East of Omaha Music Venue in Griswold on Saturday, September 14, 2019,  from 1-3 PM.  Interment will be at a later date.  Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is assisting the family with arrangements.
