Theodore Bradley
Hyde
July 10, 2019 – October 18, 2024
Theodore Bradley Hyde - the son of Joshua and Toni (Griffin) Hyde - was born July 10, 2019, in Omaha, NE. He was baptized at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Albert City, IA. Theodore left this world on October 18, 2024, at home in the loving arms of his parents in Oakland IA, at the age of 5 years, 3 months, and 9 days.
Theodore (Tito) lived a thrilling life in his short time. We joked that he had a 'spicy' attitude, giving us a glimpse of his true personality, often throwing as many wrenches as he could any time a plan caught his ear. Tito enjoyed spending as much time as he could relaxing at Lake Okoboji. He most enjoyed hearing the crashing waves and listening to the birds on the covered deck early in the mornings. The rest of his time at the lake was spent on the boat, riding the Ferris Wheel and Carousel at Arnold's Park Amusement Park, and being with his family. Tito also enjoyed a family camping trip to Wisconsin in the fall and his Aunt & Uncle's wedding in California. He spent a lot of time joining the cheer crew for his big brother at his sporting events, year-around. Most importantly, he exuded the most unconditional love for his big brother and baby sister. Tito possessed the most genuine smile and often shared his love and enjoyment with his subtle laugh. His earthly departure has left a huge hole in the lives of many, but he generously and graciously taught an unbelievable number of life lessons to far more.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Wayne and Karen Hyde, Richard Stofferan, Roger Hanish, Kermit and Betty Griffin; Great Uncles: Shane Wilson and Brian Griffin.
He is survived by his parents Joshua and Toni Hyde of Oakland, IA; his brother William Hyde of Oakland, IA; his sister Grace Hyde of Oakland, IA; his grandparents Bradley and Rhonda Hyde of Albert City, IA, and Scott and Tamara Griffin of Laurens, IA; his aunts and uncles: Jennifer and Kyle Swenson of Albert City, IA, Jace and Cassie Hyde of San Francisco CA, John and Shelby Griffin of Arnolds Park, IA, Mark and Madison Griffin of Spencer, IA, and Trisha and Stone Kane of Readlyn , IA; his cousins: Tate Swenson, Connor Griffin, and Scottie and Charlie Kane; his great grandparents, Warren and Sharon Wilson, and Phyllis Lindsey; and many other relatives and friends.
