Robert Earl Hainline, the son of Loyal and Margaret Mae (Johann) Hainline, was born November 8, 1936, in Creston, IA. He died September 8, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Center in Red Oak, IA, at the age of 81 years and 10 months.
Bob attended school in Thayer, IA. He enlisted in Army and served two years. After being honorably discharged, he began a career in construction in Omaha, NE. On December 1, 1967, Bob was united in marriage to Janet Yvonne Mcgee in Savannah, MO. They lived in Council Bluffs for several years, before building a house near Henderson. Bob lived at home until recently, when he moved to Red Oak.
Bob was a member of Laborers Local 1140 Union in Omaha. Bob enjoyed traveling. He loved raising dogs and always had a lot of animals on the farm.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Loyal "Junior" Hainline.
He is survived by his wife Janet of Henderson, IA; his daughters, Vicky Wagner and husband Tim of Olathe, KS, and Cindy Sheffield and husband Butch of Omaha, NE; and his brother Francis Hainline. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland. Interment will be in the Farm Creek Cemetery at Henderson. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.
