Rae Jean Namanny


Rae Jean Namanny, the daughter of Marvin Albert and Minnie Lenora (Blevins) Dreyer, was born September 13, 1949 in Council Bluffs, IA and died November 26, 2014 at her home in Oakland, IA at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 13 days.


Rae Jean attended school at Oakland. She moved to Oklahoma City, OK in 1992 and then moved to Omaha, NE in 1995. On November 17, 1995 she was united in marriage to Ed Namanny in Las Vegas, NV. They moved to Oakland in 1999.


Rae Jean was a member of the Oakland Christian Church. She loved spending time with her children.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers Donald and Gary.


She is survived by her husband Ed Namanny of Oakland, IA; her children Jeff Andersen and Kris Nichols and friend Ron Richardson of Omaha, NE; her grandsons: Michael, Joey, and Dylan; her brother Roger Dreyer and his wife Ruth Ann of Edmond, OK; and her sister-in-law Carol Dreyer of Oakland, IA. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.


A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Oakland Christina Church. There will be no viewing or visitation. A Private family interment will be held at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Oakland. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
