Paul D. Lehman, 51, of Griswold, IA died Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, IA.
Paul Duane Lehman was born November 4, 1958 in Clarinda, IA, the son of Paul Francis and Maxine Isabelle (Belding) Lehman. He grew up in the Emerson, IA area and graduated from Nishna Valley High School in 1977. He worked many part-time jobs during his lifetime such as painting houses, churches and barns, worked road construction and served as a janitor in local establishments.
Paul accepted Christ and was baptized in his youth and throughout his live enjoyed ALL church activities. He enjoyed gospel music and singing in church every chance he got. He read the Bible very often and had a very good memory of quoting scripture. He enjoyed being around people and liked going to town 2 or 3 times daily.
Paul enjoyed playing his trombone and talked often about his high school track abilities and the awards he received.
His grandparents and parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sister Marcia Lehman of Griswold and his brothers Hank (Mary) Lehman of Shenandoah and Valjean Lehman of Cherokee, IA. Also surviving are two nieces Kathi and Krystal, one nephew Joshua, one grand nephew Dylan as well a many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Township Cemetery south of Griswold. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening 6:30 to 7:30 PM at the Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold.
