Pamela Jean Putnam
Pamela Jean Putnam, the daughter of Delbert and Emma Jean (League) TenEyck was born January 28, 1958 at West Point, NE and died September 27, 2012 at her home in Oakland, IA at the age of 54 years, 7 months, and 30 days.
Pam attended grade school in St. Joseph, MO and then attended high school at Valley, NE, graduating with the class of 1976. In 1983, she was united in marriage to Lynn Putnam. They lived in Oakland and then moved to Loveland, CO where Pam worked as a purchaser for the Loveland school district. They moved back to Oakland in 2006.
Pam loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked camping, being outdoors, bowling, listening to Elvis, and skunks. Pam enjoyed playing cards, especially poker night, and playing board games with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father; her sister Jeri Russell; her nephews Joshua and Jeremy Russell; her niece Amy Stahlecker; her nephew Wesley TenEyck; and her great neice Alysa Marshall.
Pam is survived by her husband Lynn of Oakland; her children: Brandi Payne and husband Gavin of Grand Island, NE, Rowdy Putnam and wife Cassidy of Loveland, CO, Niki Ford and husband Kevin of Oakland, IA, and Stacie Kinnison and husband Shane of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren: Austin, Owen, Ellison, Lane, Garret, Drake, Lacie, Tanner, Kenna, and Noah; her mother Emma Jean TenEyck of Valley, NE; her brothers and sisters: Debi Cahoy and husband Gene of Valley, NE, Susan Thorburn and husband John of Fremont, NE, Delbert TenEyck and wife Heather of Fremont, NE, and Duane TenEyck of Papillion, NE; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Don and Dorothy Putnam of Oakland, IA; her brother-in-law Rick Putnam; and her sister-in-law Lolly Porter and husband Mike. Pam is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland. Visitation with the family will be held Friday evening at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland from 6-8 PM. Interment will be at the Oaklawn Cemetery. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
