Nancy Lynn Radford, the daughter of Duane Elton and Neva Janet (Gustason) Kaiser, was born January 14, 1958 in Atlantic, IA and died July 16, 2014 in Omaha, NE at the age of 56 years, 6 months, and 2 days.


Nancy attended elementary school at Lewis and then graduated from Griswold High School with the class of 1975. On April 18, 1976 she was united in marriage to Douglas Joe Radford in Atlantic, IA. They lived in the Griswold area, and Nancy worked as a nurse's aide and at KMART before going to work at Rolling Hills Bank.


Nancy loved flowers and working in her garden. She enjoyed the outdoors and liked spending time in Colorado and visiting Northeast Iowa. Nancy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her mother-in-law Janice Moore; and several aunts and uncles.


She is survived by her husband Doug of Griswold, IA; her son Chris Radford and wife Carrie of Treynor, IA; her grandchildren, Cydney, and Cade; her sisters, Susan Schuler and husband Warren "Butch" of Springdale, AR and Sherry Askeland and husband Shawn of Griswold, IA; her brothers Wesley Kaiser and wife Bonnie of Bellevue, NE and Danny Kaiser of Lewis, IA; her father-in-law Galen Radford of Tucson, AZ; her brothers-in-law Greg Radford and Steve Radford of Centennial, CO; her sister-in-law Cindy Evans of Castle Rock, CO; and her nieces and nephews: Jamie Heidvogel, Jesse Kaiser, Ryan Askeland, Cory Askeland and Nicole Breeling. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.



Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Griswold Community Building. Visitation will be on Sunday at the Griswold Community Building from 2-5 PM. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery at Lewis. Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is in charge of arrangements.
