Michael Dean Mundorf the son of Ronald and Martha (McGee) Mundorf, was born September 9, 1971, in Red Oak, IA.  He died February 9, 2023, at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, at the age of 51 years, and 5 months.

Mike attended school at Griswold, graduating from Griswold High School with the class of 1990.  On August 8, 1992, he married Toni Blackman.  Four children were born to this union:  Julia Marie, Mary Jo, Kaitlin, and Jacob.  On September 15, 2012, he married Dee West.  With this union came three children: Kirk Kinser, Alex Kinser, and Beth Miller.  At the time of his death, he was the proud grandpa of seventeen grandchildren with one more on the way.

Mike held many different jobs.  He was a skilled mechanic and welder.  The job he loved most was working on and restoring cars.

Mike is preceded in death by his father Ron.

He is survived by his wife Dee of Griswold; his mother Martha Mundorf of Griswold; his children:  Julia Wetterlind and husband Mark, Mary Hackett and husband Casey, Kaitlin Cudd and husband Jake, Jacob Mundorf, Kirk Kinser and wife Shelby, Alex Kinser and wife Lauren, and Beth Miller and husband Anthony; his grandchildren: Breanna, Hope, Olivia, Landynn, Izabella, Aurora, Torrance, Aria, Logan, Lucile, Alex, Jeremiah, Joshua, Amara, Aspen, Mira, and Noah; his brother Tim Mundorf and wife Kristi of La Vista, NE; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Mike Mundorf will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 2:30 PM, at the Griswold Central Church of Christ.  Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM, at the Griswold Central Church of Christ.  Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is assisting the family.
