Marilyn J. Turner Foster's Obituary
Marilyn J. Turner Foster went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the age of 81 years. She was born in Red Oak, IA on April 23, 1933 to Lloyd and Maude Putnam.
Marilyn was a wonderful homemaker and she loved visiting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack W. Turner; her parents; and her siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Norvell C. Foster: her children Janette Nelsen and husband Vaughn, Bruce Turner, Kelly Turner and wife Melissa, Phillip Turner and wife Laura, Beverly Golden and husband Jason, and meta Hickman and husband John; her sister Opal Palmer; her brothers, Kenneth, Dean, and Merrill Putnam; her grandchildren: Tamara, Douglas, Wendy, Megan, Bari, Justin, Travis, Dalton, Jordan, and Lauren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland. A funeral procession to Oaklawn Cemetery will take place at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
