Kathy Lynn Noble of Oakland, Iowa passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 16 days.

Kathy Lynn Denton was born on March 13, 1959 to Bud and Judy Denton of Springfield, Illinois . She joined her older brother, Roger, to make up their family of four.

Kathy graduated from Glenwood High School in Chatham, Illinois and graduated from Greenville College with a degree in elementary and special education. Eventually she was ordained through the Assembly of God church and pastored Macedonia Iowa Assembly of God for almost 11 years.

Kathy and her husband, Stephen Noble were married on August 16, 1980, in Springfield, Illinois. They were blessed with three children: Arthur, Tracey, and Bud. For several years Kathy was a stay-at-home mom and for a handful of those years she homeschooled their children. The Nobles have eight grandchildren: Gabe, Malachi, Makana, Paige, Isaac, Haven, Halleigh and Hope. The Nobles have two great grandchildren: Dax and Aurora.

Kathy loved to read, work in her flowerbeds, and dry flowers. She loved the town of Macedonia. She enjoyed thrift stores, playing in the Riverside Presbyterian Parish Bell Choir, and teaching women's retreats. Kathy loved praying and was very glad to know Jesus and have Him in her heart. 

Visitation with Kathy's family will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 2-4 pm at the Carson Presbyterian Church.  Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 10:30 am at the Carson Presbyterian Church.  Kathy will be buried in the Macedonia Cemetery in Macedonia, IA.
