Jerry Lee Gibson III, the son of Jerry Lee Jr. and Jean (Bartley) Gibson, was born May 9, 1963 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and died March 29, 2014 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE, at the age of 50 years.

Jerry graduated from Jefferson High School. He was united in marriage to Katherine Darro in Brighton, CO in 1998. He spent his entire adult life working with heavy machinery and driving a truck over the road.

Jerry loved watching football and NASCAR.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry is survived by his wife Kathi Gibson of Elliott, IA; his children: Roxanne, April, Cody, Kayla, Jerry IV, and Abby; his grandchildren: Quinten, Faith, Hunter, Foster, Konner, and Jacoby; and his siblings: Penny, Kurt, and Steve.

A memorial service for Jerry will be at the Elliott United Methodist Church in Elliott on Friday at 11:00 AM.
