Jackson Lee Pilgreen, the son of Jonathan Christian and Cassandra Jane (Boeckman) Pilgreen, was born May 19, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA and died August 3, 2014 at Children's Hospital in Omaha, NE at the age of 2 years, 2 months, and 15 days.

Jackson was a huge fan of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He loved playing outside with his bike, toy cars, trains, and anything else with wheels. He enjoyed being around chickens, horses, and pigs, and any other animal.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jay Boeckman.

He is survived by his parents Jonathan and Cassandra Pilgreen of Greenfield, IA; his sister Aleyah Pilgreen of Greenfield, IA; his grandparents Leslie and Wayne Clary of Griswold, IA Patricia and Robert Downey of Omaha, NE, Stephen Pilgreen and his wife Sara of Calera, AL; his uncles Kenneth Clary of Griswold, IA and Tyler Renze of Houston, TX; and his aunt Ashley Owen and husband of Carroll, IA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014, at 10:00 AM at the Griswold Community Building. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM at the Griswold Community Building. Interment will be at the Griswold Cemetery. Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is in charge of arrangements.
