Jack C. McConnelee
Jack C. McConnelee, the son of George and Maude (Roberts) McConnelee, was born February 27, 1934 at Griswold, IA and died October 13, 2013 at his home in Griswold, at the age of 79 years, 7 months, and 16 days.
Jack graduated from Griswold High School and then served in the Army. After being discharged, he returned to Griswold. He worked making cabinets, trimming trees, at Vance Body Shop, and then for Thorton Moving.
Jack was a member of the Griwold Fire Department. He was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed collecting guns.
He is survived by his brother Doug McConnelee and wife Pat; his sister Jayne Lester and husband (William); his Wife : Dolores Todd McConnelee; 5 Step Children: Cynthia Todd Sauce, Edward Todd, Susan Todd Wolosuk, Brian Todd, Steven Todd; 10 Step Grand Children:Stephanie Sauce, Patrick Sauce, Ryan Sauce, Kimberly Todd, Heather Wolosuk, April Wolosuk, Brooklyn Wolosuk, Steven Todd Jr.,
Christopher Todd, Kevin Todd; and his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold. Interment will be at the Noble Center Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
