Donna Lea Casey, the daughter of Edgar and Francis (Kemling) Reynolds, was born January 18, 1952, at the family home in Griswold, IA. Donna died September 6, 2025, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, IA, at the age of 73 years, 7 months, and 19 days.

Donna attended school in Elliott, Red Oak, and Lewis, before graduating from Griswold High School in 1971. She married Greg Casey on August 28, 1971, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Griswold. Together, they purchased an acreage on the family farm where they raised their six children. Donna worked as a rural mail carrier for ten years before becoming the Kitchen Manager at Wakonda Prayer House, which later became the Creighton University Retreat Center. She retired several years ago.

Donna was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bridge with her bridge club. She never missed a grandchild's activity and cherished her role as a grandmother, spending as much time as possible with her family.

Donna is survived by her loving husband Greg Casey; her children and their spouses: Tracy Marshall and husband Michael, Angie Weppler and husband Clint, Christy Casey, Troy Casey and wife Heather, Trent Casey and wife Pamela, and Bryce Casey and wife Shauna. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Casey Marshall, Jessica Oshel and husband Cody, Kayla Marshall, William Weppler and wife Rebecca, Hunter Weppler, Brenden Casey and significant other Reagan Watson, Brooklyn Casey, Hudson Casey, Trevor Casey and fiancée Shelby Shipley, Rhylee Casey, Tanner Casey, Michael Hotze, and Lilly Casey; and great-grandchildren Alister and Shephard Oshel. Her siblings Cheryl Towne and husband Orlo, Jim Reynolds and wife JoBeth, and Max Reynolds, along with sister-in-law LuAnn Reynolds, also survive her. Donna leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Francis (Kemling) Reynolds, and her brothers Ronnie and Mick Reynolds.

A Celebration of Life Visitation with Donna's family will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM, at the Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold. Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is assisting the family.
