Dillion John Lustgraaf, the son of Mikala Mamie (Monahan) Reed and Lavern John Lustgraaf, Jr., was born May 21, 1999, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.  He died July 5, 2020, at his home in Omaha, NE, at the age of 21 years, 1 month, and 15days.

Dillion attended school in Council Bluffs, graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 2017.  Dillion was working for Darling International in Omaha at the time of his death.

Dillion loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was and avid Minnesota Vikings fan.  He enjoyed playing games, fishing, hunting, riding 4wheelers, and planting the garden with his grandpa Bruce.

Dillion is survived by his mother Mikala Reed of Walnut, IA; his father Lavern Lustgraaf of Apopka, FL; his sisters, Rashelle Lustgraaf of Council Bluffs, IA, Page Lustgraaf, Carlee Lustgraaf, and Addison Lustgraaf, all of Omaha, NE; his nephew Benjamin Walling;  his step mother Sherry Poorker of Omaha, NE; his grandparents Bruce and Sandy Lumpkin of Hancock, IA, Judy and Dean Heiman of Edgewater, FL, Mike and Barb Monahan of Council Bluffs, IA, and Lavern Lustgraaf of Council Bluffs, IA; his great grandparents, Tom and Leona Stuart of Council Bluffs, IA; his aunts and uncles: Mike and Taylor Monahan of Omaha, NE, Jamie and Billie Athay of Carter Lake, IA, and Ryan and Caitlin Lustgraaf of Edgewater, FL; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 2:00 PM at the Oakland Community Building in Oakland, IA.  Visitation with the family will be held after the funeral service until 4:30 PM.  Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
