Diann Phyllis Larimore

Diann Phyllis Larimore, the daughter of Bud and Roberta (O’Brien) Smith, was born November 30, 1946, in Council Bluffs, IA. Diann died September 11, 2026, at Lee Summit Medical Center in Lee Summit, MO, at the age of 79 years, 9 months, and 14 days.

Diann attended school in Oakland, graduating with the class of 1964. She worked for State of Iowa in the Department of Inspections and Appeals for over 20 years. After retiring, she kept busy cleaning and painting houses.

Diann was a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and riding horses.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Fred.

She is survived by her children: Shawn Stevens, Tracy Stevens, Tami Jo Wahl, and Jami Scofield; six grandchildren; and her brother and sisters.

A Celebration of Life Service is pending.
