Dennis Edward Bintz, the son of Willard Eugene and Janet Margaret (Henke) Bintz, was born April 13, 1959 at Council Bluffs, and died June 2, 2011 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, at the age of 52 years, 1 month, and 20 days.


Dennis graduated from Oakland High School with the class of 1977. Most recently, Dennis had lived in Harlan, IA and worked for the State of Iowa Agricultural Department as a meat inspector.

Dennis is survived by his father and mother Willard and Janet of Hancock, IA; and his brothers Kirk Bintz of Lincoln, NE and Steven Bintz of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Dennis has been cremated and there will be no services held at this time. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
