Coralyn Virginia Scott, daughter of Clarence and Hazel Carspecken born on May 14, 1925, died on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the age of 91 years and 8 months.

Coralyn and Robert were united into marriage on October 23, 1944 in Oakland, California. To this union, two children were born, Kenneth and Kathlene.

Coralyn was a member of the Henderson Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts and being outside, she had a big garden and as a farm wife would help Robert with 60 to 80 head of cattle. She also dressed chickens, up to 300.

Coralyn is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kathlene in 1999; brothers: Wythel "Bud" and his wife, Maxine "Peg" and Finadale and his wife Maxine.

Coralyn is survived by her husband Robert; her son Kenneth and his wife Coco; many grand, great-grand and six great great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery.  Rieken Vieth Fuenral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
