Cletis Carolyn Ireland's Obituary
Cletis Carolyn Ireland, 93, died on Easter Sunday, 2016 in Griswold, Iowa. She was born on September 23, 1923 to Frederick and Rachel Ireland.
Cletis spent much of her childhood traveling in a service wagon with her family as her father worked with a paving company. The Ireland's then settled in Griswold, where they began working on the family farm. Cletis dedicated her life to farming the land and raising livestock. She especially loved her horses. She will be remembered by her loved ones as a strong, independent, and most resourceful woman whose sense of humor was present until the very end.
Cletis is preceded in death by her beloved parents.
She is survived by a few relatives and close friends. Visitation will be at Duhn Funeral Home on Monday April 11, 2016 at 9:00 AM followed by a graveside memorial service at 10:00 AM.
