Carol Edic, age 74, of Camdenton, MO, formerly of Carson and Council Bluffs, Iowa, died August 12, 2019, at her home in Camdenton. She was born July 4, 1945 to Faye and Emma (Bisbee) Keast.
Carol was a member of the Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurie, MO and a former member of Salem Methodist and Carson United Methodist Churches. She was also a member of Eastern Star.
Carol grew up in the Macedonia area. She graduated from Carson Macedonia High School with the class of 1963. Curt and Carol were united in marriage on July 25, 1965, in the Macedonia Methodist Church. To this union four children were born: Cory Michael, Chyle James, Cara Jo and Cala Marie. They continued to live in the Carson area until 2000, when they moved to Council Bluffs. They then moved to the Ozark area in July of 2016. Carol enjoyed water skiing and making treats for her family. She had a loveable laugh and always showed poise and grace throughout her illness.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters-in-law Dora Lou Keast and Delora Keast; her daughter-in-law Joyce Edic; and her brother-in-law Merrill Lett.
Carol is survived by her husband of 54 years, Curt; her children: Cory Edic and his wife Kelly of Carson, IA, Chyle Edic and his wife Jana of Beaverton, OR, Cara Bogosian and her husband Raffi of West Bloomfield, MI, and Cala Hough and her husband Eric of Carson, IA; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; her sisters: Catherine Lett and Karen Hall and her husband John, all of Council Bluffs, IA; and her brothers: Ed Keast of Carson, IA, and Ron Keast and his wife Carol of Red Oak, IA. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the Carson United Methodist Church. A visitation lunch will be held with the family, at the Carson Community Building, following the memorial service. A private family interment will be held at Carson Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the ALS Society. Rieken Funeral Home in Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.
