Brian Thomas McConeghey

Brian Thomas McConeghey was born May 14, 1972 at Council Bluffs, IA and died September 18, 2011 at Omaha, NE at the age of 39 years.
Brian attended school at Treynor, St. Albert's, and Thomas Jefferson, before graduating in 1992. He served in the National Guard and then worked at various jobs in the Omaha area. He had worked at Eppley Airfield fueling planes and most recently had worked construction.

Brian enjoyed riding his motorcycle, participating in and going to renaissance fairs, camping, reading, doing karaoke, playing video games, and had helped with the Mystery Manor Haunted House. He especially enjoyed spending time with his son Dylan.

Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his son Dylan; his parents Stephanie and Bryce Behrens of Treynor; his brother Bryce Behrens and wife Michelle of Treynor; his aunts and uncles: Cheryl and Bill Waggoner, John and Kathy McConeghey; Kevin McConeghey, and Karla and Gary Wedel, and his special friend Janice Spracklin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Oakland Christian Church. Interment will be at the Victoria Cemetery in Massena at 1:00 PM. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening at the Oakland Christian Church from 6:30-7:30 PM. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
