Allen "Craig" Parker, the son of Dwight and Thelma (Minick) Parker, was born December 17, 1949 in Oakland, IA and died March 18, 2014 at Marthasville, MO at the age of 64 years, 3 months, and 1 day.

Craig lived in Oakland during his youth and then moved to Marthasville, Missouri. He lived an active life there, and enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, and singing in the choir.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Lael Emily Parker; and his brother John Kent Parker.

He is survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Belknap Cemetery west of Oakland. Visitation for Craig will be on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM at the Oakland Congregational Church in Oakland with a procession from the church to the cemetery at 11:15 AM. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
